Autism

Definition

It is also called ASD i.e. Autism spectrum disorder. It is a complicated condition regarding communication & behaviour. It can be minor or major problem, that need full time case. people suffering from Autism have trouble of understanding. It can hard to express themselves either word or from gesture, facial expression & touch. Children are more affected.

Symptoms

• A lack of Eye Contact.
• Less or more interest in certain topics.
• Repeating words & phrases, looking back & forth or flipping a liver.
• Not listen or looking other people.
• Sensitive to sound, touch, smell or sights.
• Talking in a sing - song, afraid or robotic voice.
• Not wanting to be held or cuddled.

ASD includes some other disorder : Autistic disorder

• Problem in social interaction, communication & play in children younger than 3 yrs.
• Childhood disintegrative disorder : child have typical development for 2 yrs & then loose some or most of their communication & social skills.
• Pervasive development disorder : delay in social & communication skill.

Causes

Exactly how it is occurs, it is not clear. Some problem in parts of the brain that interpret sensory input & process in language. It is more common in boys. Genetic factors also includes. A child of older patient has a risk of autism.
